Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) Certificate

Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) Certificate

WBE (Woman Business Enterprise): The WBE certification is for a business that is owned and controlled by a woman. This certification is specifically for doing business with corporations and other private entities.

WOSB (Woman Owned Small Business): The WOSB certification is for a small business that is owned and controlled by a woman. However, it is different from WBE because it is specifically for doing business with the federal government.

NWBOC is a third-party certifier for the Small Business Administration (SBA) and this certification is part of a special program that the SBA created for industries it designates as underrepresented or substantially underrepresented. The SBA uses the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes to determine which industries qualify for this certification.

The Frew Group logo story - the Fibonacci Sequence

About The Frew Group Logo

Let’s Talk Story for a moment. Can you guess the inspiration behind the curved image in The Frew Group’s logo design?

It is inspired from the famous Fibonacci sequence, often referred to as nature’s code and the golden ratio.

This magical spiral is an underlying geometry in the evolution of living things. It is found throughout nature, art, geometry, architecture, astronomy, the musical scale, even hurricanes and earthquakes. It is also used for calculating pi!

It is one of the most famous formulas in mathematics. As a beautiful pattern of growth spirals found in nature, it inspires the passion behind The Frew Group’s mission of inclusion and wholeness!
